Welcome to Mini Mary's

To help your child learn the basic skills needed to work within the classroom St Mary's invites all 4 year old children to Mini Mary's.  This is run every Wednesday afternoon from 1.00-2.50pm.  The pre-schoolers join in our new entrant class for the afternoon's lesson.

At Mini Mary’s we often focus on a letter of the week or a number.  We create crafts, practise writing and play games together.

Mini Mary’s is a great socialisation time for four year olds.  They learn about our school, where to find things, how to work and play with other children, fine motor skills, letter, sound and number knowledge.

Enrolment at St Mary's

For an enrolment pack please contact the school office, phone 06 379 7171.  

When you complete enrolment paperwork we ask you to return the following items to school.  We can make photocopies of the documents (birth certificate and immunisation certificate) if you bring the originals to the office.

• Enrolment form, front and back
• Dental form
• Health consent form for the nurse
• Copy of Immunisation certificate
• Copy of birth certificate/passport
• Preference enrolment certificate, signed by the Parish Priest (for Catholic families) call Father Eddie on 379 8033.
• Signed school attendance dues form
• Signed Day Trip Permission Slip

All the other items in the pack are for you to keep.
