CHILDREN’S AUCTION
There will be a ‘kids only’ auction at 1.00pm on Friday 8 April. In this way, they will be part of the fundraising for the bark chips. We are asking that they donate items for it e.g. second hand toys in good condition, cupcakes etc. On the day, children can bring a maximum of $2 to spend. This will be changed into ‘Mrs O Money’ at an exchange rate of $1:$100 which can be used for bidding.
THANK YOU
We would like to say a big thank you to Sarah Newman and her mum Jan for their ongoing support in tidying up the weeds in the car park and taking the bags of weeds away. Thanks for making our environment look great!
WATERING THE GARDENS
With the holidays fast approaching we need to see if any parents, grandparents, neighbours etc. would be willing to give the vegetables in our gardens a watering during the holidays if the rain does not do the job for us. There is a water tank with hose attached ready to go, it just takes a little while! If there are any willing volunteers please let Lisa or Miss Gray know.
"Nature can bring fear but its beauty can also bring peace and give life. This week on www.catholictv.net, see nature giving life. This is a great idea for sharing with a friend."

ENVIRO NEWS
St Mary’s once again has an Enviro group. We meet on Thursday lunchtimes to discuss and do. So far, we’ve cleared rubbish from under the library and Room 4, cleaned out the worm farm, fixed the netball hoop and put it back up and we’ve done some weeding. It’s great to have children who care for their environment so much!
AUCTION SUPPER
We are asking for a donation of a savoury item and a sweet (slice or similar) for the Auction night supper. Please deliver to the school library on Friday morning.
