Dear Parents, Caregivers, Family and Friends

This is just a short letter with some reminders. (No newsletter tomorrow)

Children need to be seated in the church at 6.45pm.

We are starting at 7.00pm and hope to be finished within the hour.

Children are to wear school uniform. As it will be hot in the church their jackets need to be left with parents.

THANK YOU

• To all those people who helped with the sleep over. It was great success with everyone going home tired but happy on Friday.
• To Sandra Edwards and the team of Friends who organised the UnderCover Wear fashion parade. The small group of people who attended bought enthusiastically, the models were great and there was an abundance of supper.
• To all those who have supported our school this year. I will be adding to this tonight.

CHANGE OF DATES FOR 2012

Originally teachers planned to have two teacher only days after Anzac day. We have just realised that this is the first week of Term 2 so the logical days for teacher Professional Development are Monday and Tuesday the 23 & 24 April. Thus Term 2 will start for the children on Thursday 27 April after Anzac day.

SCHOOL POOL

We are unable to give out keys to our school pool because if the pool is being used we legally have to have it tested every three hours during the day.  Also, the chemicals are very expensive to keep it ready for swimming rather than maintenance for a few people over the six weeks. It will be ready for swimming as soon as we are back at school.

TROPHIES

Due to the busy term we have not had time to have the trophies engraved.  If you are a recipient of one tonight could you please return your trophy early February so that they can be engraved for you?

BUS AND CARS

The school bus for 2012 will start on 1^st February.  Please bring and collect your own children on 31 January.

LIBRARY BOOKS

We are still looking for a few outstanding titles.  Please check at home for any library books or other reading books which need to be returned to school and bring them in tomorrow.
