Dear Parents, Caregivers, Family and Friends
The days seem to be filled up with concert practices at the moment. I think everyone will be glad to get back to ‘normal’ routines! There again we all remember the highlight of being a ‘tree or angel’ when we were at school. Perhaps this is the beginning of a career for a budding thespian?
PRODUCTION REMINDERS
- For the 7.00pm performance the children must be at school by 6.45pm.
- Parents are asked to drop their children off at school (Room 4) and take their seats in the church. Teacher s will then take the children over to the presbytery to take off their shoes before going across to the church.
- Please make sure that preschoolers stay in their seats with you and don’t join the class groups.
- At the end of the concert please stay in your seats while teachers take the children back to the presbytery. Once all the children have left the church you are welcome to collect them from the presbytery.
- There will be a full dress rehearsal on Tuesday and teachers have asked that as well as the black T shirt and trousers or tights.
- Mahaki boys bring sunglasses and the girls will have their hair tied in pig tails and are allowed to wear a bright lipstick (we have a supply of hair ties) for their item.
Rangimarie need to bring a hip hop hat or beanie.
PRODUCTION ENTRY FEE
Rather than a gold coin donation, there will now be a $2 charge per person. This should cover the cost of hiring headsets (microphones) for solo parts, to ensure children can be heard clearly.
RAFFLES
The ‘Friends’ will be selling tickets for a $100 raffle on Thursday night - $2 per ticket.
Senior students are also raffling a donated All Black doll at school. It is signed by three All Blacks- 20c per ticket

QUOTE FOR THE WEEK

Don’t forget daylight saving on Sunday.

We have five autographed copies of “Rhinehold the Mouse” by Di Batchelor for sale. Di attended our Book Fair on Friday and read to the children and spoke with them about being an author. The books are for sale for $15 and a percentage of this is a donation to the school.
